Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

 

Christopher (Chris) J. Wronsky is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Lockheed Martin Corporation. He is responsible for the corporation’s global workforce of 120,000 employees across more than 57 countries, directing the enterprise-wide HR strategy and talent cultivation. 

His portfolio includes total rewards, talent acquisition, labor relations, talent and organizational capability, HR transformation, and the HR Business Partner Community, as well as oversight of the corporation’s global security organization.

Wronsky brings over three decades of HR leadership experience, beginning his career at IBM. Most recently, he served as vice president of HR for the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business area, where he guided the integration of multiple organizations—including the Sikorsky Aircraft acquisition—and spearheaded talent and culture transformation initiatives that directly contributed to RMS’s performance on people, customer satisfaction, growth and financial results.

Previously, he held senior HR positions in Lockheed Martin’s international HR organization (London), Systems Integration (Owego, N.Y.), Maritime Systems and Sensors (Moorestown, N.J), and the Undersea Systems line of business (Manassas, Va).

A native of central New York, Wronsky earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and a master’s degree in global human resource management from Rutgers University.

Through his leadership of the HR and Security functions, Mr. Wronsky ensures that Lockheed Martin’s People Strategy is tightly aligned with the company’s mission critical goals.
