Our Lockheed Martin UK SkyKeeper Command and Control system has been designed and developed by our engineers based at Ampthill, in Bedfordshire, in collaboration with our key supply chain partners.

As a Systems Integrator, the supply chain is an essential element of Lockheed Martin's products. Our broad and capable supply chain allows us to access a range of innovative and disruptive technologies from a wide industrial base, including non-traditional suppliers.

Lockheed Martin works strategically with its supply chain to share innovative requirements early, which enables the supply chain to invest and de-risk prior to adoption.

Our supplier vetting and quality assurance processes are key enablers for new supplier technology and services to be adopted in an agile and low risk manner.

SkyKeeper's modular architecture allows for rapid adoption and replacement of technology from the supply chain, significantly reducing costly regression testing and obsolescence issues.

When considering which companies to partner with, we look to work with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Supporting the UK Government’s social value and growth agenda is important to our business. At Lockheed Martin we’re committed to partnering with and supporting local businesses. Our SMEUNITE supplier ecosystem has purposefully been designed to attract UK SMEs into the defence sector.

Below are a few examples of how some of our key SkyKeeper suppliers are supporting Lockheed Martin to deliver a robust, integrated, and interoperable product, capable of spiral development for our customers. This level of collaboration enables Lockheed Martin to deliver a cutting-edge Command and Control capability.

tecnobit
Tecnobit provides the tactical data links for SkyKeeper, such as Link-16 / JREAP-C by LINPRO Data Link Processor. LINPRO is Tecnobit’s multi-link processor – it is designed with an advanced scalable and modular architecture, integrated with SkyKeeper, it facilitates the system’s integration with existing and future systems capabilities and deployments. This allows SkyKeeper to quickly adapt to new technologies and operational requirements.
MilDef
MilDef supports the SkyKeeper solution by providing ruggedised hardware, in various form factors of networking and computing solutions. With scalability being key for SkyKeeper, partnering with MilDef enables Lockheed Martin to embed the SkyKeeper software in appropriate hardware formats from MilDef’s extensive off-the-shelf military grade product range.
Antycip
ST Engineering Antycip provides part of the core simulation and synthetic training capability for SkyKeeper. This simulation is an ‘off-the-shelf’ (COTS based, including MAK ONE’s Computer Generated Forces) technology that allows Users to run synthetic training scenarios. It is an Open Standards based architecture which enables it to connect to high fidelity models within SkyKeeper, and if required, interface with other live and synthetic systems.
